Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.

The 58th anniversary of Earth Day. We invite everyone to support Earth Day’s 2027 theme: OUR POWER, OUR PLANET. There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference for our planet on Earth Day.

The theme for World Environment Day 2026, hosted by Azerbaijan, will focus on Climate Action, highlighting the connection between urbanization and climate change, urging urgent global cooperation for sustainable solutions, and promoting initiatives in renewable energy and ecosystem restoration. January 7th, 2027 – Internships Begin – for our 1 month internship – topics in hands-on farming, farm tools, experience with animals, we begin at our permaculture and education center farm in Buri Ram, Thailand, then we visit other Permaculture farms in the area. This is a once a year experience. You will do hands on projects in permaculture on site, visit other NGO projects in the area, Meet key sustainability actors in Thailand and developers of sustainable projects and organizations in Asia. Experience and observe NGO’s, as they deliver permaculture Aid, also interact with many people in the NGO, Organic food, Permaculture, Sustainable and ReGEN communities. You’ll be part of something big. Internship course is 20 euro/day. Accommodation (dorm style) and food included (300 euro deposit). Seats are limited each year. Apply in November and December.
